Where can you find the best coffee in town?
I usually get my coffee from Starbucks, which is under my house. I always order a cappuccino with coconut milk. But at Toki you really get quality coffee, the hippest place in Amsterdam.
Where to go for a Sunday brunch?
Go to Bo Nam, have a Vietnamese coffee and the Banh Mi Hoi-Sinner, you don’t need more on Sundays.
Where to go to dancing all night long?
It depends on the mood, but lately, I can often be found in the ChinChin Club. I especially like old RnB hits and the ChinChin always hits the spot! In the summer I go to festivals as much as possible.
Whatâs your guilty pleasure when youâre hungover?
Then I prefer to watch football all day long. I love to fall asleep and then watch studio sport again at 7pm for all the summaries.
Where do you go for your favorite dessert?
At the moment I think the tiramisu at the Spaghetteria is really delicious. I always have room for dessert and I prefer not to share my dessert haha!
What is your favorite store to go shopping?
That’s FOUR, itâs a nice big store with cool brands, but slightly more expensive than average. I also love the shops in the Nine Streets. But I am a very bad shopper by nature, I have so little patience for it.
Where to go to find the best Dutch local treat?
That is at Van Stapele. You can really get the most delicious cookies from Amsterdam there. Sometimes there is huge line at the door which I think is really magical to see, because then you know it must be right. Trust me, theyâre worth the wait!
Where to go to spot some art or culture?
I really like the Westermarkt on Saturday in the Jordaan. There you will find more than enough culture. After that, have a coffee and apple pie at Winkel 43.
Where can you get the best cocktails in town?
Kampai on the Geldersekade. The cocktails are really high quality and the bar staff is super nice. I always ask for a âmen’s cocktailâ, which is actually more about the glass than about the actual drink đ
Favorite neighbourhood to stroll around the whole day?
I am very attached to my own neighborhood. There is a jetty on the water and I like to read a book or watch the boats that pass by.
Where do we get the best rooftop view of Amsterdam? Whatâs special about that spot?
That is the AâDAM tower in Amsterdam Noord. Here you can also see the letters of Amsterdam written on the roof of the central station and look out over Amsterdam.
