Where can you find the best coffee in town?
For six years in a row it is, and always has been De Wasserette in De Pijp. They have their own coffee roast and I just love the neighbourhood and the people that work there.

Where to go for a Sunday brunch?
I love to go to Lolita, also in De Pijp. Its run by friends of mine and it’s fairly new to the city. Not only great for brunch but also a really fun dining experience at night, when the bartenders play loud music, light fireworks and sing loudly.

Where to go to dancing all night long?
Actually, there were no fun places left to party, BUT two new clubs just opened up: Lovelee (the old Sugarfactory) on Leidseplein and Oliva (the old Claire) on Rembrandtplein.

What’s your guilty pleasure when you’re hungover?
ASIAN FOOOOODDD especially the DimSum at Oriental City (Damstraat). Just order the whole menu and you’ll be fine!

Where do you go for your favorite dessert?
I’m not a dessert person, but you can wake me up for the French cheese platter at Petit Caron, also in De Pijp (Sorry, I live there and I’m lazy ;))

What is your favorite store to go shopping?
Hands down, Maha on de Vijzelgracht. They have a super cool selection of my favourite brands, sneakers and streetwear. The owners are super nice and their buying game is f’ing strong.

Where to go to find the best Dutch local treat?
Dutch local treats are shit, seriously we have disgusting taste when it comes to food. Just enjoy the taste of our multi-cultural heritage and be amazed by Thai, Surinam, Italian, French or even Ethiopian cuisines. Possibilities are endless, really.

Where to go to spot some art or culture?
FOAM (photography) is a great museum and we even have a purse Museum (Hendrikje) on the canals which is quite fun to be honest! Or visit the cat boat hahaha!

Where can you get the best cocktails in town?
Best cocktails you can drink are at Vesper in de Jordaan, it’s suuuuuper small but very good. Also, the jalapeño cocktail at Salmuera is TO DIE FOR (I love everything spicy)

Favorite neighbourhood to stroll around the whole day?
Ehmmmm I don’t stroll enough I guess… But the 9 streets are quite nice, also to wander around in and look at nice boutiques.

Where do we get the best rooftop view of Amsterdam? What’s special about that spot?
Best view is A’dam tower, but it’s quite touristy. I really love to go to Okura and have myself an overpriced cocktail and look over the entire city.

Let’s talk self care. What’s your favorite spot?
Skins, they have the best selection of brands and fragrances. If you want a killer pedicure or manicure pleaseeee go to Lakwerk, they have the best nail art in the city!
