Where can you find the best coffee in town?
My favorite coffee spot in Amsterdam is The Hoxton Hotel, where I sometimes start off my day before I go to work at 09.00 and get ready for the day.
Where to go for a Sunday brunch?
Bar Botanique in East is my favorite brunch spot. It’s a no-nonsense restaurant, covered in plants. They serve amazing Croque Madames and Shrimp Croquettes. Don’t forget to try their Truffle Scrambled Eggs either.
What’s your guilty pleasure when you’re hungover?
Drinking pickle juice straight from the jar.
Where do you go for your favorite dessert?
At Yuan’s Hotpot they serve an amazing fried custard bun, served with condensed milk.
What is your favorite store to go shopping?
Restored on the Haarlemmerdijk. This concept store all about slow living and beautiful and minimalistic design. But on Sundays I’m always in for a trip to Intratuin (a garden center in East).
Where to go to find the best Dutch local treat?
Herring (with onions and pickles) and kibbeling at the Dappermarkt in East.
Where to go to spot some art or culture?
Huis Marseille is an impressive canal house turned into a photography museum. You’ll always find a beautiful exhibition, just walk in.
Where can you get the best cocktails in town?
I can’t decide between Rum Barrel in East (more playful) and Rosalia’s Menagerie in the center (fancier).

I love Deciem, a honest skincare and cut-the-bullshit store in the 9 streets, where I buy my basic products.
